Lineman, You’re the Man Photography Contest is an avenue to give thanks and recognition to our brave linemen and showing how electricity has made an impact on the lives of the MCOs and the community.
CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
Relevance to the Objective – 40%
– The entry exhibits and higlights the role of linemen, their efforts and sacrifices to light up the community.
Creativity and Uniqueness of Concept – 25%
– Quality and value of the photo
Visual Appeal – 25%
– The entry exhibits detailed visual storytelling that further amplifies the photo message
Audience Impact – 10%
– Audience impact will be based on the total number of likes/reacts by July 28, 2024, 11:59 P.M.
TOTAL – 100%

1ST Prize – PhP 3,000 + Certificate
2ND Prize – PhP 2,000 + Certificate
3RD Prize – PhP 1,000 + Certificate
3 Consolation Prizes – PHP 500 (each) + Certificate
SELECTION OF WINNERS
1. Three (3) respected and experienced judges will screen all the submitted entries to
confirm that the contestants have complied with the criteria, mechanics and guidelines.
2. The Judges will select six (6) winners who will receive cash prizes, tokens and certificates.
3. The decision of the judges are final and irrevocable.
4. Winners will be notified via e-mail and contact number provided. The winning photos will also be showcased on ILECO III’s official Facebook Page (Iloilo III Electric Cooperative, Inc.).
ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to all photography enthusiasts, ages 18 years old and above, who reside within ILECO III coverage area(Anilao, Banate, San Rafael, Barotac Viejo, Sara, Lemery, Ajuy, San Dionisio, Concepcion, Batad, Balasan, Enstancia and Carles).
GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS
1. Each participants shall submit ONE entry only.
2. All entries must be the original work of participants and do not infringe on any third party’s existing copyrights.
3. Participants are required to send short description (2-4 sentences)
depicting the importance of Warriors of Light and ILECO III in the community.
4. Photos that have been previously submitted or have won in any local,
national or international photography contest will be disqualified.
5. Minimal photo enhancement are allowed (cropping, color enhancement,
brightness, sharpness) but major photo manipulation WILL BE CONSIDERED
VIOLATION OF THE RULES AND WILL SUBJECT THE ENTRY FOR DISQUALIFICATION.
6. Intellectual Property Ownership: ILECO III shall have full ownership of the photo and its exclusive rights for advertising and promoting the activities of ILECO III provided that due recognition and credits is given to the photographer.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA
1. Participants must submit:
a. High resolution image – .jpeg format (either portrait or landscape).
b. Must be 3,000 pixels at 300 dpi
c. Maximum of 25MB file size
2. All entries must be submitted to ileco3.isd@gmail.com on or before July 19, 2024 (Friday) not later than 5:00 PM.
