To further strengthen our robust partnership with our allies in the field of rural electrification, officers from ILECO III, led by Dir. Jeo Bandojo, Board of Director District V attended the SB Session at the SB Session Hall in Balasan, Iloilo on April 13, 2023 (Thursday).
Some of the objectives of the appearance was to update the Sangguniang Bayan Members, headed by Vice Mayor Hon. Manuel C. Ganzon, on the cooperative’s achievements, as well as its plans and programs for the municipality.
Stated below were the concerns raised during the Session:
1. Status of Electrification in Balasan (Energized and Un-energized Households)
2. Ministerial Requirements in application for electric service connection (Lot Consent, Right of way clearance).
3. Republic Act 11552- An act Extending and Enhancing the Implementation of the Lifeline Rate.
4. Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA)
In addition, this is part of ILECO III’s initiative to empower the Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) and achieve greater success in the field of total rural electrification.
Other attendees included Alex A. Demandante, MSD Chief, the upcoming Board of Director from District V, Lope Salmorin, and additional ILECO III personnel.
