The turn-over ceremony and signing of Deed of Donation and Acceptance for Classroom Re-Wiring Program were conducted on February 28, 2023 (Tuesday) in Ilaya Elementary School, Poblacion Ilaya, Sara, Iloilo. It was attended by our General Manager Atty. James G. Balsomo II, Dir. Vicente R. Espinosa, Board of Director-District VI (Ajuy), ILECO III employees, Barangay Electrician Association (BEA) members, Ms. Jenny P. Diesto-Master Teacher 1 of Malayu-an Elementary School, Sir Lou Azuelo-Head Teacher 1 of Santol Elementary School, Ms. Gina P. Panes-Principal 1 of Ilaya Elementary School and Teaching Staff from recipient schools.
The following schools were the recipients of the said CSR Activity:
Ilaya Elementary School – 40 classrooms
Malayu-an Elementary School – 5 classrooms and 1 gymnasium
Santol Elementary School – 13 classrooms
The Barangay Electrician Association were also given recognition for their contribution to the success of this activity.
This is part of the cooperative’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activity that strongly supports the education sector through “Classroom Re-wiring Program” to help the school by providing free materials, labor and assistance to provide safe electrical wirings in the chosen school building to make it as a safe and conducive learning space for the students.
