ILECO III received fifteen (15) recognitions and awards during the 2022 Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association (PHILRECA) Convention and 43rd Annual General Membership Meeting which was presented during the “Awards from the Wires 2022” held at the Iloilo Convention Center, Iloilo City on August 12, 2022. This is a platform in which Electric Cooperatives in the entire country are being recognized for their dedication, support and excellent performance. It was attended by 120 electric cooperatives represented by more than 1,000 delegates.

The following awards were accepted by the Board of Directors headed by Dir. Villa B. Gumban and ILECO III Management Committee:

•Strong Commitment to Brotherhood Award
For its unwavering support and upholding the true spirit of bayanihan in helping ECs and Member-Consumer-Owners during Typhoon Odette through PHILRECA Task Force Kapatid.

•MCO Prime Participation Award
For conducting the Annual General Membership Assembly gathering at least 10% attendance of total billed MCOs with perseverance and determination.

•Highest Commendation for an Outstanding Performance
For its outstanding performance and for attaining the highest assessment rating in pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development during extraordinary times notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement.

•Limelight Award
For being the front runner in the pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all challenges confronting the rural electrification program.

•Gold Stellar Award
For attaining a high collection Efficiency despite constraints and restrictions.

•Outstanding Radio Program Excellence Award
In recognition of the efforts to establish radio program that exemplify commitment to community service, genuine and accurate news and information.

•MCO Champion Award
For organizing its MCOs in barangay level and for empowering the MCOs of GUIMELCO to become advocates of the Rural Electrification movement.

•Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Award
For achieving operation and service without incurring occupational casualties and for observing and strictly implementing effective safety measures in its operations.

•Extra Mile Award
For implementing the Pantawid Liwanag Program 4, an initiative in partnership with government frontline agencies aimed to uplift the lives of the MCOs and mitigate the impact of these challenging times.

•Team Awesome Award
For extending full support to the movement and for being one with the celebration and commemoration of the achievements of the Rural Electrification movement.

•State of the Art Workplace Award
For maintaining a model workplace conducive for the optimal performance of its staff and personnel.

•Outstanding Performance Award
For attaining a single-digit system loss on-grid systems loss in its operations while in pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement.

•Making a Difference Award
For promoting the use of sustainable and environment-friendly energy sources by implementing Renewable Energy Project in its coverage area/s.

•Champion of the One EC Network Foundation Award
For carrying out the vision-mission of the One EC Network Foundation, Inc. to life by providing basic social and economic services to beneficiaries while in the midst of a pandemic and crisis.

•Iron Pillar Award
For active engagement and participation to the trainings, webinars, and other activities of PHILRECA in pursuit of Rural Electrification and Development amidst all challenges confronting the rural electrification movement.

These achievements are made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Board of Directors, management, and employees with the support of our stakeholders and Member-Consumer-Owners.
