The start of the actual preparations and exercises on the Basic Linemen Training Course (Week 2) were the following:
1. Pole hauling
2. Hole digging
3. Grounding
4. Pole erection
5. Guying
6. Anchoring
7. Pole climbing exercises
8. Pole dressing
9. Stringing
10. Tensioning, Armouring, Tying
Supervising these activities are the trainers from SURSECO-1 along with the observer Engineers who are from the different Electric Cooperatives: ILECO III, ANTECO and GUIMELCO.
Right preparations were conducted and trainers were very hands on when it comes to designating each tasks to the trainees. Activities mentioned above were just the first part of the rigorous trainings of the trainees to equip them to become the “Future Warriors of Light”.
