In its commitment to enhance the empowerment of Member-Consumer-Owners, ILECO III successfully held its 33rd Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) on Saturday, April 12, 2025, across three strategic locations:

• For the Sara Area Coverage (Sara, Lemery, Ajuy, San Dionisio, and Concepcion): ILECO III Gymnasium, Brgy. Preciosa, Sara

• For the Pani-an Area Coverage (Batad, Balasan, Estancia, and Carles): Balasan Civic Center, Poblacion Sur, Balasan

• For the Natividad Area Coverage (Anilao, Banate, Barotac Viejo, and San Rafael): Barotac Viejo Municipal Gymnasium, Poblacion, Barotac Viejo

The event was honored by Mr. Vai Babiera, Tingog Center Manager who give his motivational message to our MCOs in behalf of Hon. Marie Josephine Diana “Happy” K. Calatrava, Regional Chairman and Third Nominee of Tingog Partylist. Inspiring messages were also delivered by Hon. Doc Darl C. Tupas and Hon. Carlo Ong, on behalf of Hon. Raul “Boboy” C. Tupas (Representative, 5th District of Iloilo), Hon. Binky April M. Tupas (Board Member, 5th District of Iloilo), and Hon. Arthur R. Defensor, Jr. (Governor, Province of Iloilo), who was represented by Hon. Arturo C. Cangrejo, PCDO of the Iloilo Provincial Office.

Key attendees included Municipal Officers from ILECO III’s coverage areas, the entire Board of Directors of ILECO III, MCO EC Wide Officers, MCO Chairmen, BAPA Fed Officers, BAPA Chairmen, BEA Officers, former ILECO III employees and Board of Directors, and the ILECO III Workforce, led by Atty. James G. Balsomo II.

Heartfelt messages of support were also extended by Admin. Antonio Mariano C. Almeda (Administrator, National Electrification Administration), Hon. Sergio C. Dago-oc (APEC Partylist Representative), and Atty. Janeene Depay-Colingan (Executive Director and General Manager of PHILRECA).

Hon. Vai Babiera (Tingog Center Manager) administered the oath-taking ceremony for the newly appointed BAPA and BEA Officers.

Engr. Vincent H. Belita, the outgoing Board of Director for District III (San Dionisio and Concepcion), was presented with a plaque of recognition and a token of appreciation in grateful acknowledgment of his exceptional performance and significant contributions to the cooperative’s mission of providing efficient and reliable electric service towards total rural electrification.

The business meeting was chaired by Engr. Vincent H. Belita, the BOD President. Key agenda items included the determination of quorum, the reading of notices and proofs of publication, and the reading and approval of the minutes from the previous AGMA.

Following this, the Treasurer’s Report, the Board President’s Report, and the General Manager’s Report were presented to all MCOs by Atty. James G. Balsomo II.

To conclude the event, raffle draws were conducted at each of the three venues for all participating Member-Consumer-Owners.
