For the people of Tagubanhan Island, a dream was made into reality with the electrification of the said off-grid island.

On June 6, 2024 (Thursday), ILECO III successfully conducted the Symbolic Energization of Tagubanhan Island. According to Atty. James G. Balsomo II, General Manager of ILECO III, the organization believes that access to power is now considered a basic human right, and ILECO III is committed to provide excellent service to MCOs to meet their power and electricity needs.

ILECO III’s goal is to electrify every household within its franchise area. With the support of the National Electrification Administration’s Barangay Line Enhancement Program (NEA-BLEP), ILECO III secured a budget of almost Thirty Nine (39) Million pesos for the fulfillment of the energization of around 1,477 households in Tagubanhan Island.
