It was handed over to our General Manager Atty. James G. Balsomo II last January 19, 2024. This donation aims to enhance our service delivery, particularly in ensuring real-time consumer payments in our Area Offices. To achieve this goal, we are implementing an innovative SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) project that would connect our Area Offices to our Main Office server through the internet.
However, as we aim to integrate this cutting-edge technology, we are faced with a challenge of acquiring the necessary infrastructure, specifically access to reliable and high-speed internet connectivity. The Starlink Satellite Internet Service presents an ideal solution that could help realize our project and subsequently benefit not just our Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) by enabling seamless and instantaneous payment processing, but also the ILECO III by connecting other IT systems into one network.
