As part of the cooperative’s goal to intensify Member-Consumer-Owners’ empowerment program, ILECO III successfully conducted 31st Virtual Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) on April 22, 2023 in ILECO III Gymnasium.
The event was personally graced by Hon. Sergio C. Dagooc, APEC Partylist-Representative, Hon. Binky April M. Tupas, Board Member of the 5th District of Iloilo, Hon. Peter Paul Gonzales, Municipal Mayor of Banate, all Board of Directors of ILECO III, MCO EC Wide Officers, MCO Chairmen, BAPA Fed Officers and BAPA Chairmen. A recorded solidarity messages from Vice President Sarah Duterte-Carpio, NEA Administrator Atty. Antonio Mariano “Nani” C. Almeda, Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Atty. Raphael Perpetuo M. Lotilla and 4th District Congressman Ferjenel G. Biron were played during the assembly.
Hon. Sergio C. Dagooc administered the Oath Taking Ceremony of newly elected Board of Directors, Dir. Lope O. Salmorin of District V (Balasan and Carles) and Dir. Mary Jean B. Padilla of Distrct VI (Ajuy). Likewise, all newly elected BAPA Chairman pledged their Oath of Office and also administered by Cong. Dagooc. A plaque of recognition and token of appreciation was given to the out-going Board of Directors, Dir. Vicente R. Espinosa and Dir. Jeo B. Bandojo in grateful acknowledgement and commendation of their outstanding performance as Board of Director and their valuable contribution to the cooperative to deliver efficient and reliable electric service to Member-Consumer-Owners in pursuit of total rural electrification.
The Business Meeting was also done presided by Dir. Villa B. Gumban as BOD President. The determination of Quorum, Reading of Notices and Proofs of Publication, Reading and Approval of Previous AGMA Minutes were discussed during the meeting.
After which, the Treasurer’s Report, Board President and General Manager’s Report were presented to all MCOs. After the Business Meeting, the virtual and on-site raffle draw were conducted.
