In line with the National Women’s Month Celebration, ILECO III successfully conducted Culmination Activity on March 31, 2023 in ILECO III Gymnasium.
For the Morning session, a Symposium was conducted to recognize and give honor to all the brave women whose contribution and sacrifices had played a great part in the history of Rural Electrification Movement. It was attended by Female Board of Directors, Warriors of Light and Female Brgy. Officials the towns . A talk entitled “Important Law Every Woman Should Know” highlights the said activity which was presented and discussed by Atty. Cybill D. Templonuevo, Associate Attorney from Defensor, Teodosio, Daquilanea and Ventelacion Law Office.
As for the afternoon session, Iloilo III Electric Cooperative in partnership with Northern Iloilo State University (NISU)– Batad Campus conducted a Livelihood Seminar entitled “Macrame Bag Making Training Workshop”. Dr. Violeta V. Guillergan together with the staff of NISU Batad namely: Ms. Cheryl D. Millamena, Ms. Grace P. Vilonero, Ms. Gina Rose De Julian, Ms. Hiediliza G. Dragide, Ms. Maycor Jobelle Contreras and Ms. Liza L. Balogo headed and assisted the female attendees on how to make a Macrame Bag.
An Information Education Campaign (IEC) Program to our invited MCOs was also conducted by ILECO III personnel. This activity is made possible with the support of ILECO III BODs and Management Committee headed by our General Manager, Atty. James G. Balsomo II.
