System loss is one of the burdens of Electric Cooperatives all over the country, if not controlled and monitored, it is sometimes the reason why higher rates/charges are being added to power bills of Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) . Relative to this, The Iloilo III Electric Cooperative Inc. (ILECO III) in coordination with Sara Area Office led the conduct of BAPA Meter Readers Enhancement Seminar as well as the BAPA Area Meeting for Chairmen in towns of Sara, San Dionisio, Ajuy, Concepcion and Lemery on March 21, 2023 (Tuesday).

The afore-stated seminar/meeting aims to train the meter readers on how to accurately read the different types of Kilowatt Hour Meter. While their BAPA Chairmen had the opportunity to observe while they are being taught, it was also the time when ILECO Officers grabbed the time to refresh the minds of the aforementioned officers by educating them on BAPA By-Laws likewise on their functions and responsibilities as BAPA Members. ILECO III’s General Manager Atty. James G. Balsomo also graced the meeting as he informed everyone of the current achievements of ILECO 3 as well as the upcoming coop activities in the succeeding months. He thanked the officers for their undying support as they are one of the building blocks of the cooperative in gaining total rural electrification.

Also present in the meeting were the ILECO 3 employees mentioned below are Christine Joy G. Hermano, ISD Manager, Manuel Espinosa, OIC SAO Manager, Alex A. Demandante, MSD Chief, SAO Area Engineer Edsel Allador, Consumers Account Division Chief Elvie Venteroso and other ILECO III personnel.
