We are thrilled to announce the successful signing of the Power Supply Agreement (PSA) between ILECO III and Sual Power Incorporated, a subsidiary of San Miguel Global Power, after a rigorous and exhaustive Competitive Selection Process (CSP) led by the Joint Bids and Awards Committee (JTPBAC) and Technical Working Group (JTWG) of the Panay-Guimaras EC Power Supply Consortium (PGECPCI). This eight ( 8 ) – year agreement, commencing from the initial date of delivery or the issuance by the ERC of either a Provisional Authority, Interim Relief, or Final Authority, whichever comes later, and ending on December 25, 2032, is a significant step towards ensuring a reliable, stable, and cost-effective power supply for our Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) to effectively meet their growing electricity demand. The consortium’s decision to partner with Sual Power Incorporated was driven by their advantageous and beneficial offer, which assures the supply of 4MW and will increase to 7MW in 2025.
In his closing remarks, General Manager Atty. James G. Balsomo II emphasized, “We have ensured not only the power supply requirements but also the power security of our consumers.”
