An Information Education Campaign (IEC) Activity was conducted by Northern Iloilo State University (NISU)-Department of Energy and Affiliated Renewable Energy Center (AREC) in coordination with ILECO III and LGU-Batad on May 16, 2023 in Batad, Iloilo.
Atty. James G. Balsomo II was the Resource Speaker of the said IEC highlighting the following topics: Renewable Energy Programs, Net Metering and Energy Conservation. It was attended by 120 participants including LGU Employees and Officials, Barangay Officials, students and other stakeholders.
This endeavor is also one way to inform our MCOs of the current power industry set-up to establish strong partnership between the cooperative, local government and other organizations.
